Becoming a DSA Member

Click here to become a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. DSA is funded through our membership  dues. Paying dues ensures that DSA members – not corporate foundations or private companies – are in full democratic and political control of our organization. Members have the right to vote, bring proposals to meetings, and stand for local and national positions in DSA. Members also receive regular chapter news and business updates and calls to action.

We ask all members to pay monthly dues:  this ensures that our chapter 

After joining, you will receive a confirmation from the national DSA office. Forward your confirmation email to greater.lafayette.dsa@gmail.com so we can verify your membership. You will then be onboarded to our Slack, which is our chapter’s primary internal communications platform.
